I make films to examine memory processes and to uncover patterns within nature / spaces. I use Super-8mm film for its nostalgic quality, xeroxed 16mm film for its immediacy as a medium and its flicker-pattern texture, found footage for its archival flavor and camera-less convenience, and a combination of realistic and abstracted sounds to create a perceptual experience.

A structural abstract film on the mechanicalization of nature with a nod to the recursive mathematical quality within natural environments. PATTERN was created without a camera, using a found 16mm educational film and Xeroxing directly onto 16mm film.
