I was always interested in the interconnection between art and mathematics. I got my college degree in math and ten years later I became an artist. At some point , I had realized that in the foundation of all my paintings lied a basic structure, and often , a multilayered one. The project "Wire" came out as a result of my desire to separate the layers and try to manipulate them separately, by changing the background, by superposing one over the other in various ways, by using reflecting surfaces and shadows, obtaining thereby new objects. Wire structures proved to be the ideal means for achieving my goals.
