One of my interests consists in connecting simple shapes into
mathematically-inspired art objects.
These objects might take the form of jewelry pieces or lamps but the
piece presented here just stands by itself.
Inspired by the famous painting of another Belgian, a cube-shaped
model of a mucube, a regular infinite polyhedron.
It is made by connecting 576 (roughly) square plastic pieces that
are cut using a CNC machine.
The pieces have a side of 2.5cm; the letter pieces have a second,
metallic layer.
The same inscription appears on all sides of the cube.
