Most of my computer generated artworks arise from visualizations of biological or mathematical processes. I want to focus the viewer's attention on the complexity and intricacy underlying such processes.

Turing Trio

Ceramic Tiles
2015

Using a cellular automata model due to Young for generating Turing-like patterns, this trio of 4.25" x 4.25" glossy tiles displays a toroidal Turing pattern that was generated by varying a parameter controlling the density of the pattern while simultaneous employing two color gradients to emphasize the two different types of cells that are used to form the pattern.
