SuperCubeSphere
20 x 20 x 20 cm
3d print (plaster, epoxy coated)
2016
Following the research of Buckminster Fuller´s Quanta Modules, Einar Thorstein developed the SuperCube. This geometry is based on a cube entirely dedicated and build up by the phi-tetrahedra or "Fang". Meaning all subdivisions of edges, areas or volumes follow the golden ratio. The SuperCubeSphere explores a further development of extending this system into complex polyhedral space.
