As a son of two mathematic professors I was surrounded by the fascination of numbers ever since I can remember. Working as a Videoartist since 2009 I came across different software to creat visual content. The fractal software Apophysis just blew my mind and gave me great opportunities to create and animate worlds I've never experienced before.

In fractals I found a combination of what inspired me the whole life. The mathematic background of my parents, the nature I love to explore and psychedelic visual art. The possibility to play with numbers to create nature like structures is just fascinating.

The two pieces show 3D visualizations of a Julia-Fractal, they let you fall into a dreamlike state, a surreal, fantasy Universe where you don't exactly know what you're seeing but still feel familiar.

The second piece of this serie takes a closer look at the fractal. It lets you see the repetition, the depth and the complexity of the fractal.
