I'm studying pattern continuities on polygon tessellations. The first system I'm researching are polygons with symmetrical edges and corners. My naming for this is ABA.

In this movie only hexagons are used. Hexagons have 28 different shapes inside and these shapes seamlessly continue from hexagon to another and create bigger patterns. This movies is kind of a list of all 28 different ABA shapes (topologies) of hexagon. These different shapes are rotated in same way in all pictures, except the end where everything is random.
