My work explores mathematics, information, and modern mythology. I enjoy producing interesting effects using algorithms to manipulate colour on a pixel-by-pixel level.
"Fib" is an exploration of the Fibonacci sequence.
The 16 sections are representations of the Fibonacci sequence, with each successive concentric area containing the number of pixels in the corresponding step of the sequence, coloured corresponding to the same step. Colours are determined by dividing the Fibonacci value byte-wise, and applying the results in different red, green, and blue combinations for each section.
