A rhombus is an equilateral quadrilateral. It is a special case of a parallelogram (quadrilateral with opposite sides of the same length) and of a kite (quadrilateral with two adjacent sides of the same length and the remaining two having the same length as each other). The sweeping lines in this piece come together to give the appearance of many black and white rhombi in amongst parallelograms and kites.
