This video shows how I used my computer software, TesselManiac!, and
a laser cutter to create beautiful magnetic wooden tiles to decorate
metal surfaces, in this case a refrigerator and a file cabinet. It
includes figurative tessellations that illustrate several different
isohedral tile types, a morphing algorithm, woodworking, and a
little humor. The video features tessellations by Jos Leys, M. C.
Escher, and Alain Nicolas. It also features music by Walach and
Buttery, “Not Your Usual Mandolin and Tuba Duo”.
