I am an hobbyist with a passion for parametric design. I like to learn and combine different techniques. Most of my work is virtual because making costs and selling requires time.
PatDef Low Table is made with 135 laser cut aluminium pieces, 65 pieces are painted in black. The assembly is done with the help of 1981 rivets. The global shape is obtained using relaxation. Then the shape is duplicated in two surfaces which are clustered in 70 exteriors pieces and 65 interior pieces. Each of these pieces is obtained using a perfect maze algorithm using a triangular mesh as topology support. The whole process is done using the software Rhinoceros and Grasshopper with the help of my own C# library.
