Anduriel Widmark
Polystix are arrangements of non-intersecting prisms related through
cubic symmetry. The family polystix includes: tetrastix, hemistix,
tristix, and hexastix. The name polystix was given to these
structures in “The Symmetries of things” 2008, by Conway, Burgiel,
and Goodman-Strauss. Polystix arrangements are used to develop and
describe structures in: mathematics, biology, crystallography,
