The inspiration for this work was the construction of an ellipse with two concentric circles. The illusion of space that I like when I draw this construction led me to the idea of making a model where parallel and orthogonal lines create visual conics. The symmetry of the composition emphasized the symmetry of the curve and directed the visual dynamics towards the center.
