This piece looks for the confrontation between two symmetry systems. The rhombic dodecahedron has octahedron's and cube's symmetries, and the rhombic triacontahedron has icosahedron's and dodecahedron's. The diagonal's proportion of the rhombus in the first one is √2, and Φ in the second one: two numbers with big tradition in art. However, do they generate conflict if put together? And not only artistically, also geometrically they have difficulties: the edges of the first are not perfectly parallel with the faces of the second. Although using a control numeric machine, the piece was done meanly handcrafted in order to give it some warmth. The materials used are natural, two kind of wood, that generate a sensual sight to the spectator.
