Statement

After exhibits from 2013 to 2017 (see details on first 4: conference papers 'Bridges Exhibits as Incentives for Collaborative Works', I, in 2015, and II in 2016), the Belgian 'RAM-8 Groep' artists collective confided its 8th collaborative installation overall project idea this year to team-member Samuel Verbiese, visual artist . Inspired by having in 2009 simply converted an image of a number of blue&white umbrellas on a Belgian seashore to have one representing a labyrinth, Sam got the group members agreement for his idea to present an umbrella (here the marriage umbrella of the daughter of member Marianne) to be hanging from the room ceiling with personal works on each of its 8 triangular fabric elements, including a labyrinth !

Fun→ A large umbrella, dear ol' protection device, floats 8 white fabric wealths as inspiring canvases to 8 un-math artists. ∃remarkable ≠ : being randomly sprayed by 1st 8 numbers as sole low math vs. huge hidden math pool ⊂ the device itself : stretched saddle-curved triangles & supporting mechanical structures, even deployment kinematics ! From our given digits, what did creativity create : (1) unique bio-crawling, (2) µChartres laby/maze duality turned via Zometool barriers + wire bridges in an ∞ loop, (3) geometric-color minimal delight intra 3 borders, (4) oniric nature poem with mysteries quad, (5) meandering thru delicate 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴, (6) Nikola Tesla's improbable '?', (7) intricate hepta zoo salad & (8) ∞ 8 journey. ← Fun !
