At first interested in 2D renders of mathematical objects, I focused
on 3D printing of the same kind of objects. At the moment, I am
exploring a more manual approach to make funny things.
A pentagonal hexecontahedron, one of the 13 archimedean polyhedra.
Each face is composed of four triangles in 3 different woods. I
made a virtual model of it ten years ago, in Povray. Recently, I
had the opportunity to make a real world version of it. It is
quite a great thing to finally be able to handle your dreams.
