Regular polygons and rhombs can be used together to create many striking and beautiful tiling patterns. This image shows how the vertex figures for the four SI(5) polygons can be extended to periodic tilings of the plane. The SI(5) polygons are the regular polygons and rhombs with angles {pi/5,2pi/5,3pi/5,4pi/5} and include the pentagon, decagon, "thick" rhomb and "thin" rhomb.
