Statement

Having tried different types of fractals and fractal programs, formulae and parameters in the recent years, I believe that there are amazing unknown places somewhere in every fractal not discovered yet, because fractals are mathematically infinite and small changes in one of their basic values can result in significant changes and end up in forms and environments totally different. In spite of my knowing that, I have recently encountered such a surprising world in one of my seemingly useless and messy combinations of parameters so that I could not believe such a world lay there in my hard drive waiting to discover. Fractals, specially those known as three dimensional, are real mathematical and artistic surprises.

This series shows three dreamy fractal views of the basic forms of prehistoric evolutionary life in different places, times and atmospheres. They are all raw fractals produced by the same combination of formulae, but with minor changes in values. In these works mathematics of chaos has resulted in some basic forms of organic creatures which look simultaneously complex and simple, exactly as is believed in the evolution process. Preliminary creatures in spite of their simple structures appear to have had spontaneously chaotic behaviors and characters which pushed their evolutionary processes ahead and resulted in what can be seen today as sophisticatedly complex forms of life. Creatures evolve and change but the mathematics of nature is what has always been. Thus, I believe fractal behaviors of nature might have had significant effects on the diversity of creatures and their shape and built evolution.
