Statement
Paper artist. Designs her own models - origami tessellations (mosaics made from one sheet of paper). She derives her inspiration mainly from nature. She authored 3 origami books: "Christmas", "Flowers for every day", "Jewellery for every day" and a “Tessellation" series (8 booklets). Since 2003 she runs her own website about origami www.haligami.cmza.pl. Halina is origami instructor. She organizes exhibitions, demonstrations, competitions and origami workshops. Graduated as a Master of Science in Engineering, major in Mathematics (Silesian University of Technology), also finished pedagogical studies as well as majored in Teaching Computer Science in Schools. Since 2002 she has been working in the Primary School No 1 in Gliwice.
