SKY–LAND As a means of completion of my artistic project called Paradoxes in the relationship of nature, science and art I walked along the 800 km Camino de Santiago (Way of St.James) from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (France) to Santiago de Compostela or Finister (Spain). The route which tried me both physically and spiritually-mentally had a great influence on my artistic development as well. The hard weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, sunshine), the constant collaboration with nature offered me a lot of opportunities to learn about the phenomena of physics, chemistry and biology and to explore and phrase the mysteries artistically.

While my feet were treading the mud, my head was floating in the clouds. After a while, throwing off the shackles of physical tribulations I was walking between the sky and the land. My physical, mental and spiritual nature lived in three states of matter: land, water, air. I discovered a world of mirrors between the land and the clouds. First I collected, studied and processed dendrite and other crystals. Then I focussed on clouds as phenomena of fractal.
