Josep Rey Nadal

Statement

Mathematician, former teacher, artist, mathematical and creative museographer of Mathematics Museum of Catalonia. Part of my art consists in taking objects and forms from the nature, irregular and perhaps with accidents such as breakage or insect attacks, and put them in a new harmony. Each of the parties collaborate in this new harmony. It intends to encourage the reflection of diversity and solidarity.

12 sections of an olive branch eaten by woodworms. As if they were holding hands, they perform a round dance following a coreography leaded by a Möbius band.
