Artist, researcher and professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid – Spain. Member of the UCM research group: “Chromatic research: Technical, formal and meaning aspects in the expression of colour through art”. Author of the book "Logical Structures in the Plastic Arts" and co-author of the books "Introduction to Colour", "Distortion, Misunderstandings and Ambiguities. Optical Illusions in Art", "Mathematics, Art and Design", “Art, science and technology. Teaching and creative experiences”, “Art, magic and illusion. Optical illusions in art and other visual productions” and “Wearable Computing Art(ifacts)”.

RND - Fictions based on organic randomness. RND. S-01[04]

RND, Random, Rand ... are preprogrammed basic function names that use programming languages to manage the random. They are used to generate a number or sequence of random numbers between two limit values set by the programmer. In this proposal everything is random. The position of the first point defining the first line of the series. The direction, size and width of the lines of the sequence proposed. The range of colours that are used. A RGB random colour is generated, its complementary is calculated and a range of 2 chromatic values between one and another is obtained. The number of lines in each composition is also random. It depends on the skill of the program user to finish executing the algorithm.
