3D printed nylon plastic

2018

Five racks, each with two beams, slide through each other in this one degree-of-freedom mechanism. In Thurston-Conway orbifold notation, this has symmetry type 5x. Thanks to John and Jane Kosticks for telling us about the geometry this is based on.
