Statement

I enjoy investigating mathematical patterns graphically with colored pencils. The submitted work is an example involving the nine point circle and Euler line for an acute triangle. I have made a dozen such paintings varying the acuteness or obtuseness of the triangle and seeing how the key points on the Euler Line change. I try to choose colors that elucidate the properties of the nine point circle and the Euler line and that look nice as well.

I find the 9 point circle fascinating and I have made a dozen paintings showing how the nine point circle and Euler Line appears in different types of triangles: equilateral, right, isosceles, very acute, very obtuse, almost equilateral, and so on. I think these paintings are unique as I have not seen anything like them anywhere.
