Gölcük Shipyard, located in the district of Gölcük in Kocaeli province, has been initially constructed for repairement of Yavuz Dreadnought (SMS Goeben) in 1925. Today, one of the propellers of the ship is exhibited as an iconic monument, regarding its influence in the establishment of the city. This study introduces a design for the open space, inspired by the geometric, physical and behavioural characteristics of that propeller. The 3-fold rotation axis is coded as "n-fold" rotation in Processing environment. With the operations such as deconstruction of triangles into vertices, translation of center of rotation, playing with the parameters, offsetting the circles, we have explored new relations informing a kinetic module of a spatial system. The kinetic module was tested with physical models. Thus, the trials carried out throughout the study led to exploration of a kinetic module that could grow by articulating in 3D space which can be adapted into different scales and contexts.
