I have been making origami structures from about 2 years. I recently found a modular origami technique created by Heinz Strobl. Making these paper structures and watching as they grow piece by piece gives me great joy. This particular model is made from about 3000 pieces and took me a week to make.
This model was inspired by a single sheet origami I saw at a mathematical art exhibition and a modular version on Instagram made with the snapology origami technique. The curvature of the structure fascinated me and inspired to make the model you see here. This technique was created by origami artist Heinz Strobl.
