Statement
I am a chemical and biomolecular engineering student and enjoy creating digital and fractal art. Through these creations, I have begun to realize the connections between math and art.

This is a Newtonian type fractal. The polynomial coefficients used were -1,0,0,0,0,1 and the r value was 1-i. The coloring was chosen by using the set boundary exterior and choosing complementary colors. This artwork reminds me of a hibiscus flower with spiraling arms.
