Statement
I have always enjoyed art and folding origami, and am fascinated with the different ways two seemingly separate fields, math and art, can be entangled. I am always in pursuit of new tools and skills and and searching for creative ways to combine mediums.

Siege of Cranes
silver gelatin photo paper
2021
The paper crane is a classic in the world of origami. After making photograms in a darkroom photography class and learning how light can be transmitted through photo paper, I decided to try exposing paper to light after I had folded it into different shapes, before unfolding to develop it. For this work I folded multiple cranes and exposed them to light from different angles.
