Statement

The piece is one of a series of origami-inspired collages that use mirror symmetry. The results appear complex and mathematical, but this is achieved intuitively, using the simple alignments found in a square of paper.

Artworks

Eight squares of paper have four identical folds. Neighboring squares are always mirror images of each other, with colors reversed. The illusion is created of eight interwoven squares, four are black and four are white.
