Statement

Variations upon Voronoi Tilings. The basis of this project is to investigate beauty. Voronoi tilings are drawn digitally on rectangular and triangular grids to produce varying results. The diagrams are randomly generated each time making new images, but the symmetries remain the same. These pictures are best seen from afar. My acknowledgements go to Dr. Carolyn Yackel for starting this project and supporting me throughout this process.

Artworks

This image was created on a 4x4 triangular grid with two sets of colors from the same palette. The Voronoi tiling was made with 50 points. Distances were calculated with the Euclidean metric. The image itself was tiled using a simple tiling generator.
