About the look
Antiprism Pants
Poly Taffeta
2020
This pair of pants can change length by either engaging or disengaging the ribbon suspenders. The folding pattern creates a column of pentagonal antiprisms, which have been designed to be flat-foldable, enabling the length change.
Fibonacci Top
Nylon Organza
2020
The pleating pattern for this shirt is based on the Fibonacci Sequence. Starting from the middle and moving outward, the width of each chevron follows the Fibonacci Sequence.
Antiprism Backpack
Leather, metal hardware
2016
This backpack is flat-foldable for storage and pops up into a pentagonal antiprism when you want to carry something in it.
About the look
Waterbomb Pants
Polyester
2020
These pants use a traditional origami waterbomb tessellation, but the pattern has been modified to account for the changing curvature along a leg, treating it more like a frustum than a cylinder.
About the look
Parabola Crop Top
Poly Taffeta
2020
This crop top is made with an origami pattern that was designed using the method described in the paper "Folding Functions: Origami Corrugations from Equations." The equation in question is that of a parabola, and the entire pattern is flat-foldable so that it can easily be heatset.
