Statement
I have interests in engineering applied to STEM. Therefore, I am involved in creating objects that have a geometric background with not only educational math content but also industrial applications. They have to be beautiful in order to be appealing to everyone.

The flowering of the octahedron

Whenever we have an octahedron, there are ways to show its eight inner pyramids. If we take 4 edges that belong to the same plane and we use them as axes in order to rotate the adjacent pyramids, we obtain “the flowering of the octahedron”. As a dynamic feature, this artwork can be extended to a variety of media. For instance, an audiovisual or an interactive animation.
