Statement

After a rewarding career in high-tech industry, I dedicated myself to the Art of Geometric Abstract Sculptures. In this field my engineering expertise evolved into unique and powerful techniques that employ mathematical algorithms and modeling tools. I call it The Engineering of Art. Like other art toolkits, it serves the artist’s inspiration and vision by enhancing his imagination and creative capabilities in a spectacular world of three-dimensional forms. This is not a “free hand” art. I see my technique as a “free mind” art with a highly enjoyable power of realization of the most complex ideas. This is my new world, and I enjoy every piece of it!

Artworks

The Hexa Stars is a family of sculptures in my collection derived from a single geometric model through adjustment of variable parameters. The two presented embodiments are a “fully developed” star, named Orchid; and an Orchid Seed, with a shape on the extreme end of compactness. The two share an identical projection of a six-rays star and similar relative positions of their other components. The model can generate multiple transitional shapes – all of them visually very different from each other and open for artistic interpretation.
