Statement

I am a professional mathematician who has been an amateur dancer my entire life. In graduate school, I was inspired by Science Magazine's "Dance Your PhD" competition to blend my my passion for mathematics and performance. I made my first Math-Dance video titled "Representations of The Braid Groups" for the Dance Your PhD competition in 2017. I won first place overall, as well as first place in the Physics/Math category. Since then, I have continued to make Math-Dance videos, which are publicly available on my YouTube channel.
