Statement

My art is deeply rooted in mathematics, patterns, and the beauty of simplicity. Through cutting, creasing, and curving paper, I create three-dimensional forms that cast striking shadows, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Each piece is a journey of exploration, celebrating both my successes and the valuable lessons learned along the way.

“Woven Zen-Circles” is a celebration of creativity and mindfulness, merging the tactile beauty of woven paper with the detailed artistry of Zentangle patterns. Each section of the circular weave showcases a distinct design, meticulously drawn with fine markers and ink. The use of various shades of gray enhance the intricacy of each design, creating a dynamic sense of movement and depth.
