Statement

As an artist and mathematician, I exploring by the harmonious coexistence of these two worlds. The fusion of technology, mathematics, and art empowers me to push the boundaries of expression. Through the utilization of digital tools, I can breathe life into intricate mathematical concepts and translate them into visually captivating forms. By weaving together these seemingly unrelated disciplines, I aim to create a synthesis that encourages viewers to contemplate the inherent beauty and elegance that arises from the convergence of technology, mathematics, and art.

The artwork created from the mathematical function a(y,z) = 4z^2/3 + 3y^2/3 combines the elegance of the function with the transformative power of matrices. The function itself represents a surface in a three-dimensional space, with the variables y and z determining its shape and form. The incorporation of a 2x2 matrix using sine and cosine functions adds a sense of depth and complexity to the artwork, as these functions offer a varied source of mathematical structure. The transformations generated by the matrices showcase the beauty of these functions by highlighting the interplay between geometry, symmetry, and motion.
