Statement
I make 2.5D sculptures out of glass, acrylic, resin, and paint. They expose the beauty of geometry, oscillation, and chaos. I do this using software and tools that I've designed and built in San Diego, CA.
Artworks
This piece explores the dynamics of energy between the artist and his creations: An embryonic life form embeds itself into a vessel network. The sphere is thick with turbulent tissues, though purple and anemic. Is it a tumor consuming itself with overgrowth? Or has it given its oxygen to the thin but vibrantly red vessel network? The two are intertwined in an endless game of giving and taking. Though it is not immediately clear which one is the taker.
