Further research after developing the SuperCubeSphere, lead to a series of investigations. The main topic of the of the research was a wider approach of exploring the different quanta modules described by Buckminster Fuller. A variety of spatial relations of tetrahedral geometries assigned to polyhedral symmetry groups lead to surprising new configurations. The A-QuantaMill represents an octahedral arrangement of the pyramidal shape.

Additional info

Inspired by Paul Schatz´Oloid, there was the attempt to create derivatives of the shape. The goal was to create an interesting shape which edges would be a combination of arcs and lines. A developable surface should be the outcome. As one way to create the shape of the oloid is to track the edges of the "invertible cube", the same approach was used to create a series of "kaleidocycloids". The shape can be varied by the amount of edges the invertible shape has and which edges are tracked.
