Statement

From the moment I first encountered an “x” in school, I was deeply moved by mathematics—not only as a method but also as a phenomenon in itself. The beauty of graphs, curves, and geometric figures captivated me. Later on, I discovered the binary number system: as if you had only two fingers. The strict rhythm of those numbers! Today I program mathematical patterns and let a drawing robot (plotter and a 3D printer) bring them to life. Mathematics, programming, and making—all in one. These days, I explore binary patterns, other number systems, patterns, combinatorial problems and so on. Revealing things that have always existed but have never been shown. I strive for completeness, because if it’s not complete, it’s not worth doing.

Additional info

All 88 ways to draw arrows on a 4×4 grid, moving from node to node. Each node must have an incoming and an outgoing arrow. Arrows must not cross each other. It is akin to placing 16 ants in a grid, each in a cell. These ants must all move to a different cell without crossing each other’s paths. See: https://oeis.org/A216678
