Statement

Josep Tarrés is an engineer with a main motivation: artworks with not only educational math content but also industrial applications. Joan Folguera is a mathematician with a dynamic profile: secretary of LLEIMAT as Association of Mathematics Teachers. They are both active members of of the Museum of Mathematics of Catalonia (MMACA) and they do presentations, workshops, talks and exhibitions.

Cubicuboctahedron Latin Cross is a XXI century homage to Salvador Dalí’s Corpus Hypercubus painting: the usual 3D latin cross can be visualized with cubes and quadrangular prisms, the cubicuboctahedron latin cross with cubicuboctahedrons (1 great and 6 small) together with 6 octahedral prisms.
