Statement

My style is primarily geometric & abstract; her work crafted from Italian marble. The work is distinguished by straight lines, geometric forms, flat planes, mirroring, upside down perspectives & rotation of shapes. My work is inspired by her interest for industrial design & geometry. She has been influenced by abstraction in art as well as constructivism and minimalism. My approach embraces precision, order, structure, rationalism as well as simplicity rather than realism. The essence of the sculpture is to be found within the sculpture itself. This manner of approach has allowed me to develop a geometric aesthetic language visible through artistic reliefs, contrasts, repetition & lines.
