It is a dome inspired by Persian Islamic art. However, instead of using motifs from this art, the design is based on two interwoven star-shaped heptagons, which, when projected onto a hemisphere, form the dome. Its base, crafted in marquetry, serves as an architectural blueprint to guide its construction. It is interactive in the sense that it is entirely disassemblable by anyone, thus allowing for exploration and creating a dialogue with those who handle it. Although it represents the structure of a dome, it is not a structural piece, as it is held together by magnets to enable interactivity. If a light source is placed inside, the projection of its structure can be observed on the walls and ceiling.
