Statement

The continuity of the lines in a design is sought in many cultures. In Islamic art the lines or in the Lissajous curves must "fit together"; creating figures that do not fit is not beautiful. Lissajous curves "fit" because they are the result of the synchronized combination of two simple harmonic motions with rationally related frequencies. So, I continue to search for the mathematical imperative in certain contexts or conditions which, if met, yield an infinity of beautiful and artistic figures like Lissajous. I have already arrived at some approximations that I invite you to enjoy. Playing with geometry is not enough, it is necessary to try to investigate how the Universe works.

Additional info

Is it the ball of the Champions League? It seems so. But, for me, it is the ideal representation of a perfect mathematical Moon. Or an example of an algorithmic method, one among many others, that multiply the creative power to investigate beautiful artificial forms and I'm not talking about AI. It is the result of the artisanal work of creating, constructing and deconstructing, symmetrizing and breaking symmetries, parameterizing to find the exact point and among the thousands of attempts obtained, searching for those that meet the parameters of beauty sought. In this work, if a certain parameter is not 53, the result is not the same. The result does not fit.
