Statement

My art reflects the way I experience the world: sometimes I aim to capture the feeling of a moment in time, and other times I use it as a thought process for complex ideas, whether they are emotions and thoughts I need to express or scientific concepts I want to visualize, such as in Alice in Riemann’s Hypothesis. Every piece carries intention as I translate ideas that are difficult to comprehend into visual form through meaning and storytelling. I hope my work makes these ideas accessible and allows viewers to connect with them.

Inspired by Marcus du Sautoy’s The music of the Primes, Alice in Riemann’s Hypothesis began as a way to visualize the hidden patterns of prime numbers. I mapped nearly 5,000 integers in a grid of 88, echoing piano keys, with primes as lines and non-primes as dots, forming a star-filled galaxy. At its center, Alice stands before a mirror reflecting an interpretation of the Riemann zeta function, rippling like waves in a portal, embodying human curiosity. Through rhythm, structure, and storytelling, the piece celebrates the creativity and beauty of mathematics, a side many people don’t realize exists, while making abstract concepts tangible and accessible to viewers.
