Statement
I have been working towards this result for a long time. Working with 3D software, I produced numerous studies and explored a wide range of architectural possibilities based on a single asymmetrical segment. I was ultimately drawn to this configuration for its balanced composition and the ingenuity of its underlying construction.

In this work, I explore a newly designed segment, closely related to those I used in my artworks for Bridges 2020 and 2022. Once again, it is based on an asymmetrical shape derived from a folded regular heptagon. Unlike my previous works, this construction also contains an inherent heptagonal symmetry. The structure allows for a tower of seven helical columns. These columns are slightly skewed, yet the segments connect seamlessly at both the base and the top, binding the structure together.
Only a fragment of the structure is shown. The decision to realize only two of the seven columns emerged intuitively, leaving a sense of curiosity about how the pattern might unfold if extended further.
