Artists

Statement

I think I'm evolving as an artist and I'm not quite sure where I stand anymore. Right now I want to focus more on story telling and meaning over aesthetics. Especially when it comes to fashion, the wearable art I create I feel is oftentimes a collaboration between myself and the model, as I create the work using our shared values as a point of inspiration. Origami has typically been the backbone of my identity as an artist but lately I find myself wanting to take a step back and explore other outlets for creativity.

I like infinity mirrors. I like bright colors. I like LEDs. And I like origami. What's not to love about a never ending pentagonal antiprism origami tunnel backlit with color changing LEDs that leads into the abyss to collect our existential crises and hold them in the depths of the unknown?
