2012 Bridges Conference
Congratulations to the artists below, who have been accepted to the Bridges 2012 Math Art Exhibition!
The art exhibition and conference as a whole were a big success. For the first time at Bridges, awards were presented for specific artworks, as voted by the attendees. The winners were:
- Best of Show — Mitered Fractal Tree I by Koos Verhoeff, Tom Verhoeff, and Anton Bakker
- Most Innovative — Untiled Faces by Nathan Selikoff
- Best Craftsmanship — The Platonic Solids by Bob Rollings
- Best Use of Mathematics — Dual Half 120- and 600-Cells by Henry Segerman
Also, a short video about the art exhibition was produced by Towson University.
